Christmas Time!Chrissy Catch-upI managed to catch up with a couple of old friends this week prior to Chrissy Day. I had fab-u-lous dumplings with Renee, where we were complimented in Bogan about how much we ordered and what we ate. Kind of like being hit on for our food... much appreciated. I also got to arch up with Northern dwelling Tom, not often seen this far south, and met his awesome fiancé, Cyril who is an absolute crack! Oh yeah, Ricky was there too... he didn't bring Ness so, meh! :) Biv's Family ChristmasAnother travelling Christmas 'do, we went to Sydney Christmas Eve for the annual Biv's partay. Although we didn't have the whole crew there this year, it was still a wonderful time. Great food, funny stories and plenty of photo/video footage I'm sure. Wishing all Biv's everywhere a very merry, safe and enjoyable Christmas and New Years. Christmas DayOur Christmas Day was filled with presents (mostly toys) and food, as I'm sure most peoples was. It was great to spend the day with the family and I hope everyone else was lucky enough to be with the people they love!

Party season has officially begun...Friday NightWe spent Friday afternoon driving all the way to sunny Lithgow in order to celebrate Miss Magz 18th Birthday! Everyone was super friendly in Lithgow, even those people who weren't a part of the celebrations and the locals were happy to chat and give us tourists directions to the best eats. We had a great time in one of the many pubs on the strip and it's always fun to catch up with old friends. Thanks guys, I'll be heading your way again soon. Saturday NightMore car travel on Saturday, after getting home after Lithgow we had about.... three hours to catch up on some sleep then we were off to The Entrance for more celebrations. We got to wish this beautiful lady a happy 21st birthday along with her many, many family and friends. Unfortunately, Mum couldn't make it last minute due to a massive allergic reaction (slash mutation) but, somehow, we managed :) Can I just say, the photo booth was both a great and a horrible idea! I'll post a few (not all) of our strips shortly but some were just too painful to put up. Happy birthday month Rach! SundaySunday was our annual Young's Family Christmas in a new, (huge) wonderful house hosted by Aunt Ann and Bec, no doubt with the assistance of parents-to-be Ron and Jen. It was a stinking 30+ degrees but the food was delish and the day was relaxing. Kris Kringle was a success, at least in terms of my present; a teeny bottle of Midori and a keychain breath tester, definitely something that will be useful and fun to play with over the holiday period. Merry Early Christmas to all the Young's from Melbourne to New Zealand and beyond. I'm sure I will catch up with most of you before I go tripping overseas, especially to see that new bub once he/she has arrived.
It's been a busy week leading up to Christmas (less than 2 weeks to go!), half a week left of school and more festivities on the way! Year 6 Farewell |
