Merry Christmas to all of my loves across the globe! I wish I could be there with you but, as you can see, I have kidnapped a familiar face and dragged her around Amsterdam, Berlin and Budapest. We are eating, drinking and being merry.
Wishing you all a happy Christmas with lots of love and all the best wishes! xxx

Christmas is well and truly on its way. There are red, green and gold celebrations happening all over London and it's not even Christmas Eve yet! We have had Christmas Jumper Day at school- some people have taken it to mean the ugliest jumpers they can find but I went for a simple SNOWFLAKE pattern because... I can and hopefully it will bring on a white Christmas for meeeeee! Winter Wonderland has opened up and it is as dazzling, huge and expensive as you can imagine. Lots of mulled wine was had and people watching was done. There's a German Beer Hall with a dancefloor and a drunken performer. It was great! Amanda and I also went on an open top bus tour through London City- the first bus tour I have done since moving here so YAY! It was freezing, it was dark and it was beautiful! Would definitely recommend it to the tourist within. UK schools enjoy staff Christmas parties because, unfortunately, the school year doesn't end in December- it's almost like a commemoration party with Christmas crackers and talks about the next two weeks off. It was great to sit down and catch up with everyone, hear about plans and have a laugh. I'm pretty lucky to work with the people I do! I was invited to my first 'grown up' Christmas party, which had all the best parts of a big family Christmas; food, lounges and alcohol. Plus, I got to meet some cool new people and hear about everyone's year. I think an adulting success was had all around! Thanks to the ladies that had us, it was almost like being home again :) |
